"The IAEA will strengthen nuclear security in up to 18 countries in Latin America, Africa and the Pacific by updating national inventories, develop regulations for the safe and secure storage of radioactive sources, develop a strategy for the management of disused sealed radioactive sources (DSRS), and remove 35 DSRS in Chile and the Dominican Republic.",
"This five-year project supports the establishment or strengthening of national regulatory infrastructure for nuclear security and radiation safety in at least 31 countries in Africa. The project will apply relevant IAEA safety standards, Nuclear Security Series guidance documents, and the Code of Conduct on Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources and its two supplementary guidance documents in targeted IAEA Member States.",
"The IAEA will provide comprehensive technical assistance in 15 states in Latin America and the Caribbean (Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay) to develop and/or strengthen their respective national regulatory infrastructure for nuclear security and radiation safety.",
"Verifying Iran’s implementation of its Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) commitments is contingent upon the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) having sufficient resources to carry out monitoring and verification activities. The Agency has communicated to Board Members that an additional €4 million in extra- budgetary contributions is required for 2018/19 and Canada’s $1.5 million grant would help fulfil one quarter of this requirement. An additional $2 million grant will be provided to cover monitoring and verification work in 2020-2021",
