      "The community of Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw near Port Hardy, British Columbia, has an increasing need for flood mitigation infrastructure due to recurrent coastal and river flooding as well as sea level rise. The project comprises two key elements: the building of a sea dike with a float engineered beach connected to a river dike; and the upgrade of the main bridge across the Tsulquate River which allows the community to access essential services."
