      "The Cedarwood Sanitary Pump Station was constructed in 1972 and services an area totaling in approximately 920 hectares within the Town of Tecumseh. The pumping station is currently equipped with screw pumps which have been in service for over 50 years and require replacement in the near future. Climate change related to increasing rainfall events have had significant impacts on the region, including rising water levels in Lake St. Clair.
