"June 2024 – The humanitarian situation in Syria has continued to deteriorate due to the civil war, resulting in displacement, severe protection risks and restricted humanitarian access. In Lebanon, the worsening socio-economic crisis and the continues devaluation of the Lebanese pound threaten the ability of the majority of its population to meet basic needs. According to the United Nations, an estimated 15.3 million people need humanitarian assistance in Syria, with over 6 million internally displaced persons. In Lebanon, 3.7 million people require humanitarian assistance. With GAC’s support"
