"Through this 41-month project, West Coast LEAF will conduct research that will help improve GBV services for at-risk groups. It will address the knowledge gap regarding the intersections between BC's child welfare system and experiences of GBV, specifically for racialized, newcomer, and/or disabled women and 2SLBTQIA+ people. To do so, the project will conduct community-based research with a diverse network of community partnerships to support law and policy development to address issues in the child welfare system to align with community-identified priorities, needs and practices. West Coast",
"This 29-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. West Coast LEAF will achieve this by researching, monitoring, and assessing the relevant governing laws, policies and actions of the Province of British Columbia, compiling and sharing the findings, building a tool for ongoing monitoring, assessment and community engagement, and by mobilizing the community and stakeholders to carry out the resulting calls to action. At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barrier",
"This 59-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: financial sustainability through donor fundraising; and partnership and communications development. This provincial project seeks to advance gender equality by enhancing organizational capacity, ultimately making the law accessible to self-identified women and marginalized groups in BC. The first supplemental funding will be used to acquire new technology,"
