This pilot project will supplement the current YEKAUTW Place of Hope program by funding the development of an Elders and Knowledge Keepers Council and supplement the land-based healing activities, which have played a fundamental role in the program participant's healing journey.
The capacity-building project activities will include review and finalization of the draft orientation manual, development of a policy and procedures manual, and development of promotional and advertisement material, all to strengthen the foundation of the community-based justice program.
