March 2018 - Niger continues to face significant humanitarian challenges related to food insecurity, malnutrition, and forced displacement. The expansion of the conflict in Nigeria has led to more than 400,000 people in need and the highest levels of food insecurity in the country. It is expected that humanitarian needs remain high in Niger’s Diffa region throughout 2018. With GAC’s support, Action Against Hunger is addressing the urgent humanitarian needs of up to 28,650 people in the Diffa region.
