The organization will organize and hold workshops to inform the Francophone and Francophile population of Saskatchewan on the history and evolution of language and school rights in Saskatchewan and Canada. Resources on the subject will also be developed.
The project consists of activities to inform young Francophones from Saskatchewan on their rights and responsibilities as citizens and on Youth criminality. The activities will be carried out through a forum, information workshops in schools and a Youth crime prevention campaign. The activities will help to improve access to legal information in French and legal knowledge amongst Youth.
This project will enable the French-Speaking Jurists Association of Saskatchewan to administer a survey from the French Legal Information Centre of Saskatchewan website. Those who use the Centre's legal services will complete this survey. It will collect data on the relevance and appreciation of these services. This data will contribute to a better understanding of the extent to which the Access to Justice in Both Official Languages Support Fund is achieving its objectives.
