This project is mostly related to technology demonstration.
The goal of the project work with Sungreen H2 is focused on the operational integration (“handshake”) of Ayrton’s H-Cell system with SungreenH2’s electrolyser system. Ayrton’s e-LOHC system is designed to take in hydrogen direct from an electolyser into our H-Cell unit to be chemically bound to our LOHC carrier oil. When integrated with an electyolyser the hydrogen does not require drying or to be pressurized within the electrolyser. By optimizing this integration, we believe we can improve the electrical efficiency of the electrolyser by up to 20%.
The goal of the project work with hiPower Hydrogen Technology is focused on the development of Ayrton’s hydrogenation or H-Cell system, specifically in regards to the balance of plants (BoP) design, procurement, assembly and validation. Ayrton’s H-Cell system is designed to store hydrogen using Ayrton's proprietary H-Cell™ electrochemical reactor system and e-LOHC™ (electrochemical liquid organic hydrogen carrier).
Ayrton energy is developing hydrogen transportation technology enabling dense hydrogen storage in a safe, low pressure, ambient temperature format. This project will focus on the optimization of H-Cell and D-Cell reactor performances.
Ayrton energy is developing hydrogen transportation technology enabling dense hydrogen storage in a safe, low pressure, ambient temperature format. This project will focus on the development of the energy generation system, fueled by Ayrton’s proprietary hydrogen carrier technology.
Scaling Ayrton's LOHC to prepare for a field deployment to demonstrate hydrogen storage in a multi-modal capacity and its reliability under remote conditions.
Ayrton energy is developing hydrogen transportation technology enabling dense hydrogen storage in a safe, low pressure, ambient temperature format. This project will focus on the development of the dehydrogenation flow cell prototype for release of hydrogen from our carrier fluid.
This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international co-innovation work.
The purpose of this CanExport SMEs agreement is to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for activities related to export market development that are part of an export business case for a specific target market, particularly where activities are targeting departmental priority markets and sectors.
The purpose of this CanExport Innovation agreement is to support Canadian organizations to carry out activities related to pursuing opportunities that would lead to establishing new collaborative Research and Development (R&D) partnerships between the Recipient and foreign organizations in order to support R&D on the Recipient’s technology and advance its commercialization.

Current EV charging solutions face significant future challenges and adding residential capacity for EV charging can be expensive. ENMAX and EPCOR outlined in a 2020 report that as few as three 40 Amp EV chargers on a single residential transformer could result in local system faults and black/brown -outs. We are developing an off grid, level 2, EV charging and energy storage system. The system is powered by a net-zero emission energy source and utilizes cloud-based software to remotely monitor and manage your charging while providing a fully automated servicing system for users.
