Design, develop, deploy, and test the Curv Pose platform
Curv Labs Inc. is developing technology to create a new interoperable analytical dashboard to improve the efficiency and proactivity of healthcare management.
Curv Labs aims to dramatically increase the affordability and accessibility of specific musculoskeletal diagnostics by enabling any camera (e.g., from a mobile device) to conduct motion capture assessments. The core technology is a machine learning model that accurately pin-points anatomical locations. This project is focused specifically on running movements (i.e. gait), and has two objectives: (1) developing the specialized machine learning model for gait analysis, including pronation, and (2) testing the model’s accuracy against ground-truth gait analysis metrics collected from trained expe
The funding provided from the Innovation Assistance Program is to assist innovative, early-stage small and medium-sized enterprises that are unable to access existing COVID-19 business support.
The funding provided by the IAP program is intended to assist innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the start-up phase that cannot access existing commercial support related to COVID-19.
Curv Labs Inc. is developing an in-app charting feature to allow allied healthcare practitioners who use their services to create and sign chart notes compliant with professional colleges’ legislations. A second, smaller project incorporated in this proposal is the generation of an in-app feature to identify client affiliation(s) during their onboarding process. This feature will effectively allow clients who, for example, identify as part of a specific employer group or are accessing the platform by virtue of a specific referral initiative to be appropriately directed in the app and/or receiv
Curv AI will develop and validate an AI-enabled athlete progression and team-selection platform for competitive cheerleading. Leveraging its existing 3D computer vision system, the project will create standardized skill scoring models, athlete progression tracking algorithms, and coach-facing dashboards to support objective team placement decisions. The project addresses technical challenges in translating raw 3D movement data into reliable, validated readiness metrics suitable for tryout environments. Outcomes will position Curv AI to commercialize objective assessment tools across the cheer
