Development of a very high power current transmitter for deep geophysical exploration
Germany ZIM Project with international partners Supracon AG, Jena Germany; Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT), Jena Germany. The project aims to develop a novel helicopter-based system for transient electromagnetics (QTEM) with very high dipole moment (TX), the lowest noise (both enhance the signal-to-noise ratio, SNR) and the best bandwidth over competing systems to account for a significant share of the rapidly growing market in airborne electromagnetics for oil, gas and mineral exploration, hydrogeology and more.
Development of a new airborne geophysical instrument which comprises a vector magnetometer having three orthogonal superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) sensors. The system will have high sensitivity and wide dynamic range and will allow for the simultaneous measurement of the earth's field and audio frequency magnetotelluric (AFMAG) signals. The technology will be used for mapping geologic formations.
Germany ZIM QAMT Project with international partners Supracon AG, Jena Germany; Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT), Jena Germany. Development of a quantum-based airborne magnetic sensor platform for highly accurate magnetic field measurement
Dias will develop a complete Electro Magnetic (EM) geophysical survey system including coil, receiver and transmitter which is useful for mineral exploration.
Development of an advanced, highly sensitive broad-band magnetic field sensor
Develop a web user interface for a geophysical data analysis capability
