This project is to provide one-time funding to Manawan to support the purchase of policing equipment and supplies. Officers of the Manawan Police Service will have access to essential and necessary resources in order to perform their duties safely and efficiently and they will be better equipped to ensure the safety of the communities in which they work.
This project aims to provide a one-time financial increase to support the police service's budget for pay and benefits, specifically related to the pension plan adjustment resulting from the stabilization of policing agreements.
The purpose of the contribution is to provide funding for the delivery of police services by the Conseil des Atikamekw de Manawan in the communities covered by the agreement.
