Improvement and expansion of tourism infrastructure: The project aims to rehabilitate the Grenville Canal and create a multifunctional public space.
The Municipality wants to construct a new section of walking and cycling pathway and rehabilitate two existing sections. The new section will be 510 m long and will connect the urban core to the businesses on Maple Street/Highway 344 so that residents can avoid using their vehicles. Rehabilitation of the two existing sections, totaling 280 m, which have been damaged by normal wear and tear, will facilitate access to the sports facilities.
The objective of the EAF is to support community based projects across Canada that improve accessibility, remove barriers, and enable Canadians with disabilities to participate in and contribute to their community.
