Leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to Massively Expand DrugBank Database$679Kvalue2023start2024end

This will be an extension of Firm's previous IRAP project which involved enhancing its internal AI NLU tool with greater predictive and insight-generation capability as well as building the bridge between the tool and human-powered curation. In this project, Firm will leverage recent advances in generative AI and large language models (LLMs) to further enhance its technologies in three ways: through advanced queries, advanced evidence source identification, and through fully automated data generation.

Project MAVIN: Increasing Curation & Product Value by Incorporating NLU$500Kvalue2021start2022end

This will be an extension of our previous IRAP grant (2019-2020) which involved building our internal AI NLU tool (called Mavin). In this project, we will focus on enhancing Mavin with greater predictive and insight-generation capability as well as building the bridge between Mavin and human-powered curation. To accomplish this, Mavin will be tightly integrated into our Knowledge Core (the knowledge graph powering existing products). This integration will occur at the data level, normalizing and linking evidence to human decisions, as well as through intuitive interfaces our curators will use

Development of Natural Language Processing For Complex Biomedical Literature$293Kvalue2019start2020end

Develop and integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) into current products and technologies. This will create efficiencies in our current curation practices and amplify our service offering to our current and future customers.
