As part of the international consortium project “PMT4DCC”, this project will focus on developing and validating a membrane-based solvent stripping technology to reduce the energy use and cost of carbon capture systems. Led by Seppure Technologies Ltd. in collaboration with BASF, the project will integrate Seppure’s advanced membrane technology with BASF’s OASE platform to deliver a more efficient and scalable solution for industrial CO2 separation.
A newly formed research platform will develop technology that enables low-energy nanofiltration processes to supplant energy-intensive canola and cannabis oil separation and purification procedures.
This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm (Seppure) to enter into future international co-innovation work. Seppure Technologies is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of organic nanofiltration membranes, which enable its users to substantially reduce the financial and environmental costs of their chemical separation processes. Currently, chemical separation processes account for 15% of the world's energy consumption. This project will establish a collaborative research partnership between Seppure and a member of the semiconductor fab
