Support the delivery of Vancouver Pride Society events
Expand and extend the season of pride activities in Vancouver - Budget 2021
Through this 30-month project, Vancouver Pride Society (VPS) will build its capacity to support and uplift QTBIPOC and 2SLGBTQAI+ communities. It will address staff representation and inclusion of marginalized and under-served community members through collaborative roundtables, town halls, knowledge sharing, and feedback collection via surveys. The project will include improving VPS’ financial management capacity, strategic planning, fundraising skills, human resources supports, training for volunteers and staff, and overall organizational dismantling and unlearning of systemic oppression.
