The purpose of this project is to establish a national Centre of Excellence for Wildland Fire Innovation and Resilience (CoE) with a focus on accelerating the uptake of innovations in technology, enhancing knowledge mobilization, and supporting Indigenous fire science and cultural use of fire. The CoE will serve as a national and international resource, where partners and rightsholders can connect, collaborate, communicate, and share knowledge that will accelerate the advancement of wildland fire response, preparedness, prevention, and mitigation actions.
