Oil condition monitoring allows users of critical industrial equipment to ensure the performance and reliability of their assets. Nevertheless, its usefulness is limited by its required timeframe. EPT aims to develop a multivariate oil sensor to allow our clients to monitor their lubricant condition in real-time, allowing for prompt and effective maintenance of their critical systems.
The project is to have our industrial lubricant purification systems successfully demonstrated at 3-5 locations in up to 5 countries in Southeast Asia.
Water is harmful in steam turbine (ST) oils. New oils and water readily separate. Used oils, however, form emulsions. Water-removal from such mixtures is challenging. Therefore, EPT aims to develop a new product to improving oil-water separability in ST applications.
