Develop a solution that extends the range of wireless radio signals between towers resulting in lower infrastructure costs while providing reliable high-speed communications to remote communities.
This project's goal is to prototype and design a new generation of wireless platform technology to host connectivity and edge compute requirements of remote industry and rural connectivity.
A project to to develop new solutions to extend the range of wireless terrestrial backhaul links to reduce backbone infrastructure costs while providing robust and reliable high-speed communications meeting the needs of recently adopted Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications (CRTC) 50/10 broadband requirements.
6Harmonics will assess its existing products, bill of materials, and mechanical design, as well as alternative parts and replacement part options as part of expanding current manufacturing capacity and streamlining production processes. In addition, it will assess the feasibility of outsourcing and improving the production process and design, assembly and calibration time and reducing overall costs.
The new graduate will perform, learn, understand, review, analyze and assess the current tasks, processes, efficiencies and outcomes of the 6Harmonics production process, and will further consider, develop, design and implement ideas and concepts, tools and methods to perform the production process elements more quickly and cost effectively and to document activities, test results, current and new processes.
The Graduate will assume the capacity of Junior Test Engineer providing test engineering support to SW and HW development under the direction of the Product Verification and Validation Engineer in two main projects that are currently underway: 1. Quality Control of SW and HW maintenance releases requested by existing or newly acquired customers. 2. Provide test engineering support to product development engineers that work on new products
Develop digital adoption plan
The Project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the Firm.
