The project involves commercialization efforts and late stage development of complimentary 7D Surgical products to increase revenue from existing costumers.
7D Surgical will develop software to assist surgeons during complex spinal deformity (e.g. scoliosis) correction procedures by providing real-time information on the relative positioning of the vertebrae of the spine without use of x-rays.
RRRF funding will be used to support Recipients to address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
7D Surgical will develop and commercialize a new system to assist surgeons during minimally invasive surgery (MIS) spine port-based procedures by providing real-time navigation on the relative position of the spine. This novel IGS platform will be compact to co-exist in the field with microscope and create a less obstructed view of the surgical site, no radiation, and a fast acquisition time.
