To renovate and improve production and testing spaces at its facility dedicated to the mass production of the AirSENCE, a real-time and affordable air monitoring device.
To commercialize the company's real-time and affordable air monitoring device through the installation of new equipment and related leasehold improvements.
The project aims to address gaps in crop health and yield assessment by developing assessment and monitoring techniques to support Canada's agricultural industry. The project will work towards developing advanced, AI-driven solutions that integrate multi-source remote sensing data with agroclimatic and field-level information that will more accurately assess and predict seeding and emergence dates, crop drought, and crop yield.
The objective of this project is to develop a pre-commercialized validation and assessment tool with the capability to identify, forecast and monitor crop disease risks on a daily basis using data from remote sensing.
To incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and expand its commercial reach.
The project is Eurostars E!113582 known as AQUASHIELD which will be led by DBC EUROPE from Belgium and will include consortium partners ALPES LASERS SA from Switzerland, KTH Royal Institute of Technology from Sweden and A.U.G. Signals Ltd from Canada. The AQUASHIELD project will include AUG's work on the development of a fast, reliable and cost-effective, laser-based sensing platform for the online monitoring of water quality for the detection of toxic agents and dangerous substances in the wastewater network.
Germany ZIM Project MARCA led by A.U.G. Signals. In this project, AUG and its partners aim to develop and validate a cloud-based monitoring platform by integrating real-time sensors, analyzers and lab tests, which will be applied to monitor, record and communicate the real-time information of nutrient levels, pollution sources and cyanotoxins in fresh water.
This project aims to develop a technology that can provide a reliable estimation of snow water equivalent (SWE) for monitoring and forecasting potential snowmelt flood events in Canada. This will be done through utilizing RADARSAT Constellation Mission compact polarimetric (RCM CP) data, by using innovative deep learning-based classification and segmentation techniques to map/segment snow coverage extent. A.U.G. Signals will also perform accurate snow depth and snow water equivalent estimations. The final result will help local hydrologic and disaster management services to determine the risks
Title: Improving Space-Based Radar Reflectometry for Better Ocean State and Target Monitoring Using Advanced Data Processing Improve the performance of space-based radar reflectometry for ocean-surface target monitoring by using state-of-the-art data processing technology.
The objective of this project is to develop more accurate and robust estimations of forest heights and biomass, and a cost-effective solution for monitoring remote forest areas.
RRRF funding will be used to support Recipients to address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This project aims to develop a web-based GIS software prototype that will provide remote sensing based algal bloom detection, algae concentration, and water quality assessments and monitoring. This technology will benefit Canadians by enabling healthier ecosystems that provide clean air, water, and local climate regulation.
AUG will develop an innovative method for optimizing wastewater treatment process at remote communities by using real-time data and machine learning-based algorithms.
Novel Early Season Crop Type Classifier by Improved Utilization of Multi-frequency PolSAR and Electro-optical Data A.U.G. Signals Ltd. will utilize multi EO satellite data, including RADARSAT, to perform innovative research and development towards developing a practical early season crop type classification product. Specifically, an early season classification procedure for key summer crops in western Canada such as canola, wheat, soybean and corn will be obtained. This development could also be extended to other crop types and regions. A successful product in this area is essential for the d
The purpose of this agreement/project is to provide innovative pre-commercial solution(s) that will increase awareness, adoption, and further development of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI). The CGDI is a digital infrastructure that provides interoperability and access to Canada's geospatial information on the Internet. It is available to government and non-government decision-makers who are focused on social, economic and environmental priorities and to the Canadian population at large.
