Acentury’s proposed project will develop a 5G wireless network automation system, featuring end-to-end test automation, ML-based protocol analysis, 5G het-net deployment automation, O-RAN / vRAN network element management, 5G planning automation, RAN service orchestration for both lab test and field deployment. These features will enhance our LAMTA and OMERA solutions so that they can accelerate more RF lab testing and production deployment activities for their 5G MNO and NE vendor customers.
Acentury will participate with consortium partners to research and create a process for creating “digital twins” for communication networks, also known as “Network Digital Twins” or NDTs. The NDT will replicate a physical network, allowing for testing, optimization and simulation of network activity in a virtual environment. The purpose of the NDT / LAMTA integration is for operators to use "LAMTA NDT" to test their networks virtually, without always needing a physical lab. Acentury will leverage our expertise in network element configuration, deployment and testing to generate customer speci
Research and develop workflows and algorithms to build a semiconductor-based RF components design simulation and test automation platform. Research and build a design library for semiconductor-based RF components. Collaborate with institutional and industrial partners for semiconductor-based RF components prototype development and explore the feasibility of local manufacturing.
Develop 5G wireless network technology lab automation system, including network element management, automation and resource management. Acentury’s proposed project will develop a fully automated 5G wireless test and automation system. It will feature automated network element configuration, workflow and resource management, data configuration management, and test automation management. Test automation capabilities will also include protocol analysis for 5G systems, radio connection management with software, massive MIMO handover testing controlled from a remote location, and automated testing
A new proposed computer-aided testing and tuning module will be developed to guide the users, typically RF engineers or technicians to tune and test the physical microwave filters in the lab. Additionally, a new manufacturing tolerance analysis module will be developed to allow the tolerance control and optimization during the design stage, and eventually reduce the defective rate at the later mass production stage. It will significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy for both design and manufacturing, increase the production yields and product quality.
Develop a design and optimization automation for planar/coplanar-based mmWave electronic passive components. Conduct a feasibility study on a fully automatic AI design platform that includes intelligent user specification analysis, automatic solution recommendations, smart layout functions, and AI optimization functions.
The core goal of this project is to integrate AI driven capabilities into LAMTA to assist users in creating, editing, and managing end-to-end test scripts, as well as to provide intelligent log analysis during test execution. The AI will be aware of all the lab's resources—including radios, chambers, RF attenuation arrays and matrices—and will leverage this knowledge to take natural language prompts from users and transform them into fully functional test scripts. It will significantly simplify the test development process, enabling users to describe their testing needs in plain language while
This project aims to explore, adapt, and validate advanced radio frequency (RF) component technologies and RF filter design automation software for adjacent markets
The SUSTAINET feasibility study project is to help firm define their strategic roadmap, individual KPIs and integration points to better align their unique contribution to the project.* Since Acentury can add value to all three sub-projects, the Feasibility Study Project will be used to engage with other SUSTAINET participants, virtually and in-person. The purpose will be to determine where Acentury’s involvement will be the most valuable to the consortium. Based on this engagement, we will further define the specific nature of our contribution to that pillar.
The feasibility study and development for a new software platform that will integrate the Synmatrix RF component design platform to the ANSYS HFSS platform.
Develop one of the function blocks on the OMERA software, provide assurance testing and issue troubleshooting.
Automate the coding deployment in git as well as 3D modelling builder development work for Synmatrix product
As part of the R&D team, verify the network automation product quality, function and performance. It will require to develop test plan, test cases, test methodology and automation tools. Ensure the final hardware, software and system meet the function, performance and capacity.
Enhance platform by enhancing automating 3D model generation, reducing manual work, and improving accuracy. It integrates seamlessly with existing features while optimizing performance for complex models. The project focuses on a user-friendly interface with real-time adjustments and automated quality checks. This results in faster design iterations, improved consistency, and a better user experience. Ultimately, it streamlines workflows, boosts efficiency, and enhances modeling capabilities.
The purpose of the project is to build an interface between Acentury synmatrix platform and Ansys em simulation tools.
