AdvEn has developed a proprietary recipe and production process for high-performance activated carbon trademarked “ASAC” (AdvEn Super Activated Carbon). It has record-breaking performance characteristics coupled with competitive cost efficiency, compared to current leading commercial products. It has many applications, the immediate of which is to build energy storage device such as supercapacitors (SCs). In 2011, Elon Musk predicted that “SCs, not batteries, would be the breakthrough for EVs (Electric Vehicles)”. Our pilot plant has been operational for 4 years, producing ASAC at an equivale
This project aims to achieve pilot production of the electrodes for both supercapacitors (SCs) and lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) using a patent-granted technology developed by AdvEn. The technology is termed Electrode Superior Adhesive Coating (ESAC), which can fabricate electrode at much-reduced capital and production cost and eliminates toxic solvents commonly used in the conventional technologies. This proposal will enable AdvEn to fabricate self-supported, high-strength electrode films reaching a production speed of at least 10-15 m/min. The pilot process is instrumental in finalizing the
The funding provided from the Innovation Assistance Program is to assist innovative, early-stage small and medium-sized enterprises that are unable to access existing COVID-19 business support.
The funding provided by the IAP program is intended to assist innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the start-up phase that cannot access existing commercial support related to COVID-19.
Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.
