The vision of this project is to grow Bluedrop in the Atlantic region and Canada and become the standard for Search and Rescue hoist and mission simulators and schoolhouse training in the world.
Support Research and Development for rapid scale-up
Increased adoption of Artificial Intelligence to improve efficiency and product quality
The Firm plans to enhance its simulation technology to enable seamless multi-simulator operations within a single training site. The project will develop software allowing users to identify, select, and coordinate multiple simulators in a shared mission environment, including master and subordinate control modes.
Leverage AI to transform military training experience while safeguarding protected data.
This add-on project will expand Bluedrop’s IMPACTS performance measurement platform through the development of an AI-based Speech Recognition and Semantic Analysis module. The module will transcribe and analyze trainee voice communications during simulator missions, enabling automated assessment of procedural compliance, phraseology, and crew coordination.
International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project - Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. (BTSI) is seeking a co-innovation “anchor” partner in Europe who has expertise in helicopter hoist operation & training and who is interested in co-developing a hoist operating training program that harnesses the unique capabilities of BTSI’s Hoist Mission Training System (HMTS) to improve training outcomes within the search & rescue, oil & gas and renewables markets.
Bluedrop has been experimenting to migrate/convert the HMTS to a Mixed Reality (MR) solution, but still has a final technical hurdle to overcome. This project will focus on eliminating the lag between the virtual hoist cable and visible physical hoist cable so that the lag does not reduce the immersive quality of the simulation.
This project will evaluate AI tools, their terms of service, and technical requirements to ensure compliance to integrate into Bluedrop’s core business. As a defence subcontractor, Bluedrop manages sensitive data to deliver training solutions for the Department of National Defence. To harness generative AI tools effectively, maintaining data security and compliance is critical.
Bluedrop will hire a youth for a position in Quality, Services and the Product group.
Hiring a youth for a position in our Product group to support on-going simulation services.
Hiring a youth for positions in our Services group to support a very large project.
