Community Support, Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Initiatives Program
The purpose of this Canada Community Security Agreement is to provide funding to this local Chinese cultural community organization to enhance their security. The population that uses the facility will feel safer from hate-motivated incidents/crimes following the purchase and installation of a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, an access control system, an alarm system, window security film, and training on how to use the newly installed equipment in their community gathering space.
The objective of the EAF is to support community based projects across Canada that improve accessibility, remove barriers, and enable Canadians with disabilities to participate in and contribute to their community.
The objective of this project is to purchase and install new appliances and equipment for the existing community kitchen allowing the organization to expand the hot meal program to meet the increasing demand in the community.
