This project aims to develop an in-the-field, hydroxyl-radical treatment for pre-harvest fruits and vegetables to extend shelf-life and enhance food safety while retaining nutritive and sensory characteristics.
Adapt existing Cleanflow product line for COVID19 reaction – Sanitization of medical personal protective equipment.
The objective of this project is to develop an in-the-field, hydroxyl-radical plasma treatment for pre-harvest fruit and vegetables to extend shelf-life and enhance food safety while retaining nutritive and sensory characteristics.
Clean Flow Transport is designed to be a single stage sanitation system for reducing / eliminating pathogens on the inside of refrigerated food transportation vehicles and sea containers. Utilizing our portable AOP “Advanced Oxidative Process” device to neutralize common pathogens such as Listeria, E. Coli and Salmonella
The objective of this project is to control mildew and micro-organism growth in pre-harvest (greenhouses, field crops, grapevines) fruit and vegetables.
Clean Works is advancing our Clean Flow technology through design, construction and testing of a commercial scale gas phase hydroxyl-radical unit to facilitate egg disinfection focused on eliminating Salmonella and other avian pathogens in coordination with our academic lab & commercial partners. Backed on strong research data including published papers, this project will scale the lab findings to a commercialized unit that supports a technology launch into a new sales vertical.
Clean Works has been presented with a significant opportunity to advance our Clean Flow technology within the poultry and hatchery market. The USDA and Mississippi State University would use our Clean Flow Mini units to evaluate Avian Pathogenic E.coli (APEC) and other pathogen reductions on hatchery eggs. This will provide significant validation of our technology in the global market. The outcome of the studies will result in published papers in the poultry industry denoting the Canadian invention and creation of further commercialization opportunities globally within the poultry sector.
