The project consists of developing a new Modular Diagnostic Reporting System (Smart Mold) and combine it with new Advanced Manufacturing Practices we wish to develop: Additive Metal Manufacturing, Laser CMM Scanning of CNC Machined Surfaces, and Robotic Tool Polishing Applications
Develop a program that will read code from a completed 3D CAD Catia part file and automatically write a CAM CNC Machining G-CODE file to machine that work piece without the use of manual code writing software. The primary objective is to control and standardize the programming and machining of custom components. Additionally, it will speed up the development of the CAM programming process and eliminate the possibility of human error.
