The project involves installation and testing of solar panels at a power utility in Portugal and demonstrating the expected results of increased power outputs in AC mode directly from the panels under different irradiation levels, light conditions, and cell inefficiency scenarios.
As part of the international cleantech project “HEPV4INDIA,” this project will focus on demonstrating how solar panels with integrated Daanaa power electronics can achieve similar improved performance when installed and operated in a large scale, real-world, grid-tied AC environment. Furthermore, the pilot will demonstrate that integrating power electronics into solar panels is manufacturable and commercially viable.
The funding provided by the IAP program is intended to assist innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the start-up phase that cannot access existing commercial support related to COVID-19.
This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will support the Firm to enter into co-innovation work with a partner in Germany for use of the Firm’s power conversion technology in their electric vehicle platform.
