DeNova is advancing the scale-up of its methanol-fed microbial fermentation process to enable efficient, reliable, and low-impact production at demonstration scale. This project focuses on technical development and process optimization to improve performance, resource efficiency, and operational readiness. The work will generate the data, operating guidance, and engineering inputs needed to support demonstration-scale commissioning, environmental validation, and the design of future commercial facilities.
DeNova is optimizing and scaling up the fermentation and up- and down-stream processes of its single cell protein production in preparation for commercialization.
Support for scale-up activities for Protein and Feedstock Production
Establish pilot scale production facility and acquire advanced equipment
Advancing Innovative Microbial Fermentation Technologies for Sustainable Aquafeed Production
Complete phase two of the pilot scale production facility with downstream processing
DeNova is conducting experimentation to validate the efficacy of its single cell protein product and to scale up production processes in preparation for commercialization.
DeNova is selecting an organism to be used in a process to produce single cell protein.
