Based on research with existing customers, business lawyers and thought-leaders in the legal-tech space, four new potential markets have been identified. Through product enhancements, these innovations will add unique capabilities to Rally's product, introduce a new product line, and be difficult for competitors to replicate.

In this project, Rally will research and develop standards and algorithms that aim to solve difficult challenges involved in the digitization of legal documents and legal structures.
This project will encompass the development of a blockchain-inspired platform for creating and maintaining computer interpretable legal contracts. Both a new data format for representing contracts, tools for the creation of contracts and a sample set of contracts will be developed.
The funding provided from the Innovation Assistance Program is to assist innovative, early-stage small- and medium-sized enterprises that are unable to access existing COVID-19 business support.
Adding to our team so we can further develop, scale, and support our document concierge program. This individual will take the lead on the document automation process and ensure it is being done efficiently and in a way that we can continue to scale as we grow. They will also be assisting with other client-supporting activities to keep clients happy and engaged.

Filling this role will enable Rally to pick up momentum on sales as it will be helping to increase the number of qualified leads our account executives have to work with on a daily basis.
The primary objective of this project is to contribute to the development and testing of Rally's digital document standard by digitizing approximately 20 legal documents. This will assist in the development of Rally's improved document format, Rally Document 2.0 as the limitations of Rally Document 1.0 are further discovered and built upon. Secondarily, the resource will support the Rally ream with general bug fixing, improvements and minor feature additions.
