This project is mostly related to technology research and development.
Elemental Trucks is developing a next-gen hydrogen fuel cell Class 8 truck with superior performance and cost efficiency. Key innovations include a new chassis design, improved fuel cell and battery integration, AI-driven energy management, hybrid powertrains, and optimized thermal management. Designed in Canada, our truck targets a $7–10B domestic market, leveraging strong policy support and top-tier talent. Ideal for heavy-haul, urban, and cold chain fleets, it offers long range, fast refueling, high payload capacity, and zero emissions. By 2030, our trucks aim to reach TCO parity with diese
This project will develop innovations to optimize the performance of hydrogen fuel cell trucks by improving aerodynamics, thermal management, structural elements and weight reduction.
The Project will support the assessment of data quality and data sources for AI project development. The project may also characterize and document aspects of data for AI and Data Governance.
This role involves managing the build schedule and daily assembly operations of a prototype fuel cell truck, while ensuring quality standards are met and maintaining thorough documentation of processes and improvements. The position also serves as a key technical liaison across engineering, suppliers, and technicians, contributing to mechanical design in CAD, resolving real-time build issues, and supporting the transition from prototyping to low-volume manufacturing.
