Data Tagging System for Merchant Point of Sale (POS) Data$200Kvalue2019start2020end

eThor plans to invest heavily into R&D work around the data the company has access to in merchant point of sale (POS) systems. One of the most difficult aspects of this is that there's no set standard when it comes to syntax or naming of items. Even within a single chain with the exact same menu and exact same POS system, one item could be named a variety of different ways. eThor Cord$138Kvalue2021start2022end

eThor is developing a product that is a physical cord that will be used to connect the merchants point of sale system and their printer. The purpose of the project is to connect consumer spending data from the point of sale with their social media accounts. Specifically, we are looking to combine data from the credit card transaction, including line-item receipt data (product) on what the consumer purchased to their social media profiles.

Order at table$50.0Kvalue2022start2023end

eThor's current product offers pay at table software for the restaurant industry. We retrieve and display receipts on a credit card payment terminal and provide a user interface to process credit card transactions. Recently, customers are demanding the ability to also use the same payment device to create and insert orders into the point of sale system. This provides a variety of different technical challenges, especially across multiple different point of sale systems which have different data models. We are also going to have to take the technology we've built for legacy POS systems which
