To support the commercialization and scale-up of its advanced force sensing technology.
Simultaneously achieving the speed, durability, and interoperability requirements for an industrial high-speed, dynamic weight acquisition sensing system utilizing Forcen’s proprietary ForceFilmTM, Dedicated OverloadTM, and ForceDAQTM technologies
Forcen has developed a digital ‘sense of touch’ for the surgical robotics market. This project will adapt this surgical technology to fill critical needs for ventilator pressure sensors during the COVID-19 crisis.
Force-Torque sensors are characterized by Degrees-of-Freedom (DoF), or how many axes the sensor can measure (X, Y, Z etc.). Stability in measuring each axis is imperative for smooth, accurate robot control and manipulation.
ForceN is working towards a space-grade version of the embedded electronics in their force/torque sensors. This project will create the validation & verification (V&V) fixtures for 100% functional testing of all ForceN’s space-grade electronics.
This proposed project seeks to result in the development of a cutting-edge force torque sensor specifically designed for space flight applications. The proposed sensor aims to address the unique challenges encountered in space missions by providing accurate and reliable force and torque measurements in microgravity environments. The key objectives of this project include (1) Design Optimization, (2) Enhanced Sensitivity and Accuracy, (3) Real-time Data Acquisition and Analysis, (4) Integration and Testing. The successful implementation of this sensor will significantly advance the capabiliti
This project will focus on developing essential integration features and capabilities for the next generation of Forcen’s cutting-edge force-torque sensor development kits. These kits enable robotics engineers to integrate and customize Forcen’s proprietary sensing technology to meet their unique use cases and application requirements. Specifically, this project will ensure dev-kit compatibility with all communication protocols currently supported by Forcen’s proprietary electronics. This enhanced compatibility will simplify integration for robotics engineers and significantly broaden the rang
