International consortium project “HIPS: Integrated Portable 5+ DOF Force Feedback Haptic Solution” focusing on enhancing the firm’s flagship product’s spatial experiences with the sense of touch. To goal is to expand the current capabilities to encompass five or more degrees of force-feedback (5+ DOF). The Inverse5 will be the world’s first backpack portable 5+DOF haptic input device, while remaining high-performance and affordable.
This project focuses on developing and refining the Firm's advanced haptic teleoperation system, which enables precise control over robotic arms in unstructured and semi-structured environments. The project will explore the integration of teleoperation systems with cutting-edge AI-based automation tools, setting new standards for human-robot interaction.
Marketing strategy: The project aims to implement a marketing strategy for a company specialized in the design and manufacture of 3D haptic controllers for immersive simulation and robotic control.
This project will attempt to improve the performance and stability of force-feedback haptic devices by improving the estimation of the device states, improving the model of the device, and attempting to incorporate state-of-art control schemes as well as novel machine learning methods.
The funding provided from the Innovation Assistance Program is to assist innovative, early-stage small and medium-sized enterprises that are unable to access existing COVID-19 business support.
International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project: The objective is to partner with co-innovators who develop realistic medical simulation solutions, whole-product concept that will integrate the firm’s devices into their existing and new solutions from software, content, analytics tools to other hardware components.
Redesigning the firm website for the haptics-enabled surgery simulation console. This new website aims at better on boarding initial customers, generating good leads, promoting the brand, and educating customers.
The funding provided by the IAP program is intended to assist innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the start-up phase that cannot access existing commercial support related to COVID-19.
