As part of the international consortium project ADC Biocomputer, this project will focus on the development of an advanced, customizable, automated Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) biomanufacturing device.
This is part of a CIIP Korea project. It will support the firm to generate a series of novel Antibody Oligo Conjugate (AOC) candidates that target lucrative but untapped therapeutic opportunities, by combining two different biotechnologies: 1) Antibody Drug Conjugate and 2) Oligo Therapeutics. The AOC candidates will be evaluated against important multidimensional variables for successful clinical deployment, including biological activity, stability, ease of production and pharmacokinetics.
CIIP Korea project NextGenADC will integrate the protein engineering expertise and enhanced antibody delivery technology of iProgen Biotech Inc. (Canada) with the unique linker-payload and site-specific conjugation technologies of AbTis Co., Ltd. (Korea). Together, this international partnership aims to create a next generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) as a potential therapeutic agent with a superior efficacy and safety profile for treating patients with solid tumours.
This project will enable iProgen Biotech to produce and evaluate a number of different antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) that are performance-enhanced by the firm's proprietary technology. The results of this project will allow the firm to identify a lead therapeutic drug candidate to take through IND-enabling preclinical development .
