It Gets Better Canada (IGB-CSA Canada): federal grants and contributions

Through this 28-month project, It Gets Better Canada will work to address the unique challenges of 2SLGBTQI+ youth in Canada, focusing on enhancing mental health, combatting online hate, and improving digital literacy. It will work with a technology company and youth advisors to stop the spread of hate online and misinformation against 2SLGBTQI+ people. The project will identify sources of online hate and work with youth to amplify the resources to bring about change. Through this 41-month project, It Gets Better Canada will build a stronger capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. This project will address key barriers in the availability of tools and community-based resources that help 2SLGBTQI+ youth engage with other youth across Canada; and explore and navigate their sexual orientation and gender identity journey.
