Acquisition of equipment and marketing strategy: The project aims to improve productivity and production capacity, as well as to diversify the markets of a company specializing in manufacturing automated industrial cutting solutions.
Design and development of a prototype plasma cutting equipment for precision machining functions.
To develop a plasma cutting table system to adapt to an industry where personnel is scarce and information must be communicated in real time. Therefore, increase performance, efficiency and safety while requiring less monitoring and ensuring continuous production follow-up.

Preliminary study to determine the effectiveness of fiber lasers in removing rust from structural steel sections.
Develop in-house expertise for high-power fiber laser cutting. The results obtained will enable the firm to compare this technology with plasma cutting.
Develop a machine that will cut 12in. tube and up to a length of 48in.
Development of a new automated machine for cutting small diameter pipes with a very short cycle time. Automatic loading and unloading without human intervention. The pipe would be driven by a roller system, without a mandrel.
Design a system to use a dust collector with fewer cartridges (filters), requiring less energy and leaving less volatile contaminants in the air. This system would suck the dust at the source.
