Expand manufacturing operations and global markets for nuclear magnetic resonance products
Develop new compact NMR products and expand the technology platform for global markets
Nanalysis will work with police forces to build a tool that can identify existing drugs and new psychoactive substances in field based first responder situations. The tool will be powered by an NMR spectrometer and advanced software and will be portable in a mobile police lab vehicle. The device will be easy to use and provide clear text indications of whether or not the substance at hand is an illicit drug and is dangerous to handle.
Strengthen supply chain resilience and global competitiveness
Support for Nanalysis Corp. to continue operations during the COVID-19 pandemic
Germany 2+2 – #022 is a collaboration project with Trout GmbH, Fraunhofer Institute for Microengineering and Microsystems IMM, and University of British Columbia to develop NMRplusX. The NMRplusX project will fuse chemical analysis methods with analytics to produce reaction systems capable of self-optimization/realization. Nanalysis is responsible for NMR instrumentation and commercialization of the end result.
Nanalysis has spent seven years developing the hardware required for a benchtop NMR spectrometer that will revolutionise how and where NMR technology is utilised. The next step in developing this product and expanding its market is to stimulate applications that run on the instrument. This project addresses four areas to accomplish this served market expansion: A hardware enhancement that greatly increases flexibility using solvents Building a tailored development environment for rapid creation of compact NMR applications The development of numerous real-world applications that demonstrate the
Participation in the Innovation Leaders Summit (ILS) held in Tokyo, Japan, on October 27 to November 1, 2019, led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to develop international partnerships and potential collaborative project ideas.
The purpose of this Canadian International Innovation Program (CIIP) contribution agreement is to support organizations and to identify specific projects or partnerships between the Recipient and international partners in CIIP target countries that could lead to industrial research and development cooperation with potential for commercialization.
