The objective of the Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program is to help employers and workers by supporting key sectors of the economy develop and implement solutions to address their immediate, emerging and longer-term workforce needs and challenges. Organizations will be encouraged to develop partnerships with industry stakeholders, employers and workers to ensure their project outputs meet the needs of the sector. The SWSP will support a range of workforce development activities, including: sector-specific training and reskilling initiatives; workforce solutions for employers; other creative s
National Quantum Strategy
The M4M3 program will lead to next-generation innovations that help tackle the challenges of establishing a permanent human presence on the Moon, leveraging Canada’s strengths in fields like Artificial Intelligence, robotics, quantum sensing, and additive manufacturing that can then be re-applied back on earth. These innovations will have direct and positive impacts on environmental sustainability, productivity, talent and job creation in Canada’s mining, energy, and advanced manufacturing sectors.¿
The program will provide companies with project funding support to develop a better understanding of the advantages and business opportunities resulting from the adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) technology and processes including cost savings, reduced new product development cycle times and improved design and efficiency. It will also allow for them to develop direct experience of the capability of AM to produce low volume parts for many applications including the repair of high performance/low cost tools, dies and plastic and composite molds for stamping (conformal cooling), part conso
This project will enable NGen to work withindividual innovative Canadian SMEs to help them develop a better understanding of the advantages and business opportunities resulting from the adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) technology and processes including cost savings, reduced new product development cycle times and improved design and efficiency. It will also allow the SMEs to develop direct experience of the capability of AM to produce low volume parts for many applications including the repair of high performance/low cost tools, dies and plastic and composite molds for stamping (confor

This project will enable NGen to work with innovative Canadian SMEs to increase their understanding of the advantages and business opportunities associated with adopting additive manufacturing (AM), including cost savings, shorter product development cycles, and improved design and efficiency. It will also provide SMEs with hands‑on experience in using AM to produce low‑volume parts for a range of applications, such as repairing high‑performance and low‑cost tools, dies, and plastic or composite molds (including conformal cooling), as well as enabling part consolidation and lightweighting.
The project will assist 10 NRC-IRAP eligible small and medium-sized (SME) manufacturers across Canada in adopting AI in their production systems to improve their productivity, health and safety, and environmental performance. Funds allocated in the program would provide manufacturers working with AI solution providers up to $15,000 to offset eligible costs involved in undertaking feasibility studies to evaluate AI readiness and developing implementation plans, leading to speedier and more successful Industrial AI adoption.
Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.
