This project will develop a clinical decision and intervention product guided by the fusion of medical imaging and invasive pressure readings in the catheterization laboratory. The platform will support the production of instrumented guidewires that are easy to maneuver and observe by fluoroscopy during catheter-based aortic valve replacements and coronary interventions. Software will integrate the registration of pressure measurements on angiograms, allow data assimilation with fluid mechanics models and provide a hemodynamic picture including indices of valve regurgitation, coronary flow res
The objective of this project is to develop a new pressure guide wire for the cardiology market. This market is experiencing very sustained growth with several applications requiring reliable pressure measurement over a long period of time. The objective of this project is to meet this growing need by developing a product that will meet the performance and pressure measurement expectations of cardiologists.
