This project aims to improve test coverage for hardware/software co-designs by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with advanced analysis techniques. It introduces a new system for both hardware and software testing, increases the efficiency over existing approaches, and adds new algorithms considering context and use-specific scenarios.
The project will develop a Bed-of-Nails configuration for circuit board testing using Palitronica’s echo-reflectometry technique. The challenges are (1) identification of hardware for proper signal injection and (2) algorithms for injection planning. The project will develop technology to address the two challenges and use empirical evaluation to measure its suitability for commercialization quantitatively.
