This projet aims to develop a monitoring and feedback system to improve the user-experience related to growing end-user supplied seed stock. By refining system adaptability to various environments and expanding plant variety capabilities, this innovation will address user demand for customization and sustainability.
Commercialization Strategy: The project aims to support the implementation of a commercialization strategy for a company specializing in interior vegetable gardens.
The project advances a modular, low-resource Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) system based on fogponics, closed-loop water management, and IoT monitoring. Building on prior prototype cycles that validated the core cultivation approach, the company will complete the active growth cycle, commission a second pilot unit, execute two further growth cycles across diversified berry cultivars in parallel multi-unit operation, develop custom A-Frame hardware to replace the current residential unit hardware, produce per-cultivar growth protocols, and quantify clean-tech performance on water, ene
The Rejuvenate product platform is now ready to be developed and utilized as a tool to further research on fogponics technology to characterize the viability and optimal growing conditions for a wide variety of cultivars that are crucial to Canada’s food production.
This project will focus on advancing current scientific and technological knowledge of fogponics technology.
The project will encompass the design of electronics for a fogponic system that utilizes LED, sensors and fog producing devices that provide a nutrient rich and energy efficient environment that allow for the growth of a variety of plants and produce in an urban setting without the utilization of soil. The project will in addition require the verification and testing of all the electrical systems as well as managing the execution of all certifications required such as UL and FCC in order to produce a fogponic system that will be sold as a consumer good.
This project will focus on developing marketing strategies to position our product, the Rejuvenate, in the market. The Head of Marketing will conduct constant research to identify and create multiple traction channels that are best positioned for our target market whilst increasing the brand awareness, developing strong messaging, and increasing the conversion rates of pre-orders over time as we prepare for manufacturing.
This project focuses on conducting research to identify and reduce barriers for market expansion of innovative indoor gardening solutions. The outcomes will support strategic growth and align solutions with emerging consumer needs in a competitive landscape.
This project is centred on creating a strong Public Relations strategy, increasing visibility across the Canadian and US market. The objective is to increase sales, brand awareness, and attract retailer and distributor partnerships.
Plantaform is hiring a youth candidate to support the national expansion of its smart indoor garden. The new hire will coordinate logistics, staff training, and scheduling to ensure operational efficiency and sales targets are met. This role will accelerate our retail growth, streamline operations, and contribute to bringing sustainable food-growing technology into Canadian homes.
