Quantum Industry Canada is seeking funding to hire a staff and deliver on proposed activities, which includes managing working groups, hosting industry events, and fostering ecosystem development.
QIC is expected to advance the G7 Quantum Commercialization Fund and the National Quantum Strategy by linking Canadian companies with international partners.
The purpose of this CanExport Associations contribution agreement is to support organizations and ultimately aims to increase the competitiveness of Canadian companies, in the international marketplace, on a sectoral basis, thereby contributing to Canadian prosperity and the growth of the Canadian economy. This financial support enables the recipient to undertake new or expanded international business development promotion activities, in a given sector, for the benefit of its entire industry (member and non-member firms).
The project will consist of a two-day conference focused on quantum technologies, bringing the Defence Team together with industry experts to increase quantum literacy in defence contexts.
