The project is to construct a prototype Research & Development (R&D) machine through design, planning, & marketing activities, leading to increased R&D capabilities.
The project focuses on development and implementing predictive maintenance technologies on our CNC Gantry Milling machines using vibration sensors. The project will involve collaborating with McMaster University (MMRI).
This project will test hypotheses and experiment with new mechanisms to design a repeatable and scalable business process, which may result in new business methods for manufacturing and marketing of Gantry-style machine centers. The project will also address the problem of market diversification and conduct tests of business processes, technical support and marketing programs required to navigate and export to new markets.
Engineer and Design a new large CNC Gantry Machining center that is capable of 3+2 axis machining, and full 5 axis simultaneous machining.
Engineer and Design a new High Rail CNC Milling Machine center that is capable of 3+2 axis machining, and full 5 axis simultaneous machining. Also design and integrate robot tool changer for RAH and 5 Axis Tool Changes.
