The firm previously commercialized a novel ring cutting device. This product has validated the market fit, and it has been a commercial success. In order to meet growing demand, the firm is developing a second-generation product that is scalable, designed for international markets, and makes key improvements to the original product.
The firm will investigate adapting their ring cutting technology to the demands of the fire / EMS environment.
Existing ring cutter technology is not meeting the needs of medical and rescue practitioners. Ring Rescue is developing a novel electrically assisted device that can cut any material, at a rate 8-25 X faster than existing technology. The innovation will be safe, simple to use, and require no physical effort on the part of the practitioner. Combined with the firm’s compression technology, a full suite ring removal solution will provide medical and rescue professionals complete confidence that any stuck ring can be removed quickly and easily.
Ring Rescue seeks to commercialize their tested non-destructive ring removal device. This project will focus on improving device efficacy, reducing the cost of goods sold, and improving device reliability.
