Position sensor system for monitoring aircraft and drones in airspace
Software defined radio (SDR) enables compact, flexible and efficient design of short- to medium-range airborne radars. The aim of the project is to develop a radio frequency (RF) module and a real-time signal processing module for Seamatica to enable the creation of different airborne radars for manned and unmanned aircraft applications.
The proposed Virtual Test Range (VTR) is an innovative simulator for Detect and Avoid (DAA) systems. Its key components, some of which can be real and others simulated, are the ownship Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), intruder aircraft, DAA sensors, ground control station (GCS) and air-traffic control (ATC).
Support costs associated with fulfilling a military contract
The goal of this project is to quantitatively assess the ability of a tactical Detect and Avoid (DAA) system to reduce the air-risk class (ARC) as defined under the JARUS/SORA guidelines.

The purpose of this project is to develop a production-level version of our GuardianEye. The Firm will be taking stock of the existing capabilities of system, comparing these to what the Firm thinks the BVLOS market needs and then determining what gaps there might be. This would also require some general market research as to what a BVLOS operation requires. The Software Engineering team and the Radar Engineering team will taking this information into system requirements for GuardianEye II, which will be our full-production system. This would also lead naturally into developing the engineering
An optionally-piloted aircraft (OPA) is essentially a human-supervised autonomous aircraft. The pilot in command (PIC) sits in the seat of a normal manned aircraft that has been modified to be flown autonomously. The PIC supervises the flight of the aircraft and takes control when required to by the supervisory control system. This simulator will be used to explore the feasibility of training an expert system and studying the interaction between the autonomous system and a pilot. Real flight operations will be studied including search and rescue and surveillance. Unmanned aircraft operating tr
