Through this project, Sera4 will advance our access control as a service platform (hardware and software) to incorporate IoT connectivity. The result will be a first-to-market, IoT-enabled remote Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) solution supporting real-time, bi-directional communication between server and lock.
The funding provided by the IAP program is intended to assist innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the start-up phase that cannot access existing commercial support related to COVID-19.
PROJECT SUMMARY Sera4's Teleporte is a cloud-based SAAS solution that enables administrators to manage locks in real-time through a web-based portal. The primary objective of the project is to enhance Sera4's Teleporte software service by integrating advanced AI capabilities into its cloud portal and mobile application to provide more access to data for users and assist with security operations. The project will leverage new AI technologies to transform the Teleporte platform into a more intelligent and user-friendly system.

The hardware embedded engineer is an essential role in the development of the next-generation lock and controller firmware as well as PCB board designs. With the changing ecosystem and volatility of the current electronics market (and supply chain) a hardware embedded engineer is crucial in determining the right core capabilities of our AP3, SLC2, AX5 and future lock and designs, and can aid the team in selecting and testing good and reliable parts that will continue to be secure and readily available.
