R&D to develop an AI-enabled, thermally efficient high-density and scalable 2D ultrasound array technology, to enable new diagnostics and therapies.
Sonele is developing a wearable therapeutic device, that uses low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) in order to induce regenerative and anti-inflammatory effects on biological tissues, such as bone, cartilage, and tendon. This device is the first of its kind, and no other wearable solution on the market exists for painless and non-invasive treatment of fractures such as humerus and tibia fractures. Sonele has extensive experience designing and manufacturing ultrasound devices, and strongly believes that a wearable LIPUS device will facilitate ease of treatment. A wearable device will allow
Sonele is developing several ultrasound devices that the firm plans to commercialize, as they are based on unique technology that solves unique challenges in the medical and non-destructive testing industries, as well as significantly improves performances of existing ultrasound products. Among these technologies, the hired Graduate will work on the development of a wearable low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) therapeutic device and material-specific ultrasound transducer for non-destructive testing.
