Working capital : In the context of the crisis caused by the pandemic at COVID-19, the project aims to ensure the continuity of operations of a company that specializes in the development of a new generation of microphones.
The goal of the proposed project is to create viable MEMS directional microphone solutions for consumer electronic devices. A unique directional microphone solution has been developed to improve audio capture in consumer devices, however several key challenges remain.
This project aims to develop a low-cost module-level product consisting of a gasket with pre-built acoustic channels so that customers can easily drop-in the enterprise directional microphones into their end product, without having to design the acoustic channels themselves. It is imperative that the design is cost-effective, so that it can be more easily adopted by customers in a cost-competitive environment. Successful completion will help the enterprise reduce its time to market and drive early revenue and growth.
The funding provided by the IAP program is intended to assist innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the start-up phase that cannot access existing commercial support related to COVID-19.
