To scale-up operations to support product customization, network management improvements and cloud platform support, in order to expand its market with enterprise clients
The goal of the project is to scale up the platform by making investments in instrumenting the creation of a Tehama environment, which will then enable the firm to isolate each service that can run independently and scale accordingly to the system’s usage. This instrumented isolation of Tehama services strategically deepens the platform’s overall ability to scale across customers, regardless of their location, industry or size.
The Tehama Service Delivery Platform currently offers service hosted from Amazon Web Services. This project will expand that capability to include Google Compute Cloud and Microsoft Azure as infrastructure offerings on which the Tehama service may be hosted. This represents a significant customer growth opportunity to Tehama by opening target customers and represents a significant opportunity to the Tehama business in terms of revenue and headcount growth.
As Tehama scales up there is a need for our Cloud infrastructure to scale and be more resilient to ensure a consistent user experience. Our Cloud infrastructure needs to be optimized and re-architected to accomplish this.
The Tehama platform is required to maintain high levels of availability (99%+) and performance. Metrics and tools to manage those metrics are required, and development tools being built and maintained to succeed at this.
The purpose of this CanExport SMEs agreement is to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for activities related to export market development that are part of an export business case for a specific target market, particularly where activities are targeting departmental priority markets and sectors.
